NOW OPEN; Pioneer Ambulatory Surgery Center

We are proud to announce the opening of Pioneer Ambulatory Surgery Center in Burlington, North Carolina. The only one of its kind in Alamance County, Pioneer Ambulatory Surgery Center is a brand new state of the art facility designed to provide all standard endoscopic services at an affordable cost. This modern facility is equipped with the latest endoscopic equipment and is fully licensed and accredited by both State and Federal regulatory agencies.

The services at Pioneer Ambulatory Surgery Center will be provided by Drs. Shaukat Iftikhar and Masoud Hashmi. Dr. Iftikhar is Board Certified in Gastroenterology and has been in practice for more than ten years. In addition to all standard endoscopic procedures, Dr. Iftikhar is proficient in ERCP and Endoscopic Ultrasound. Dr. Hashmi is Board Certified in Surgery and Emergency Medicine and is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and Endoscopy. In addition to providing surgical services at the local hospital, he will also be providing endoscopic services at Pioneer Ambulatory Surgery Center. As patient comfort and safety are our prime goals, the PASC will be fully staffed with Board Certified Anesthesiologists to assist with endoscopies.

Lastly, Pioneer Ambulatory Surgery Center has an exclusive contract with most private insurance companies, including Blue Cross and Blue Shield to provide endoscopic services at a very low out of pocket expense.
